Don't ask, but, I wish, dare I invoke the gods and pray (?), that my friends who deserve super-great girls would get some super-great girls who are also deserving of them. I had one of those moments tonight where one of those friends was looking at a girl and had already resigned himself to a fate of fatelessness with that girl. I was angry, not because of his resignation, but because he was probally correct in his assumption of that girl - that she would opt for the muscle-bound dolt over the insanely funny wit, the appropriate and charming charisma, the kind and aching heart that he (my friend) posesses which the dolt does not. I wonder if I could give up love so my friends could have it, if I would.
But then, I'm sure there are women out there for these friends of mine. They will be beautiful in so many aspects and well worth the wait.
Crossing my fingers.
Time to wake up in 5 hours to the Lakewood parade which will be streaming through the street directly below my apartment.
Hells yes! oh wait. no.
I love this post, Brabson. Man...it's been a while since I've seen your face. I believe the last time was when I was in someone's apartment, and I was looking at Mike's pictures from Israel. Remember that? Point is...I really liked this post. I also hope you're doing really well.
